Professor Massey has specialized in designing and implementing secure networks and databases for medical care settings for more than 35 years. With his extensive background in computer hardware and software design and development, Professor Massey was the principal or participating author on more than 30 articles published across the last three decades. He retired as an emeritus faculty member of the Department in 2005 to take care of aging family members.
Before his tenure in the Department, Professor Massey earned earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science in engineering from the University of Florida.

- Santoods provides an application, claiming it’s the only S.M.A.R.T. disk monitoring software that supports SCSI, Fibre channel, IDE, and SSA peripherals on UNIX and Windows Platforms. Techworld reviewed it here.
