Those who attended the 2014 Medical Guild Research Symposium at University of Florida on Thursday, April 3, were treated to some amazing seminars from six winning senior graduate students in the Interdisciplinary Program in Biomedical Sciences. During the symposium, four UF College of Medicine research faculty members were also honored with Doctoral Mentoring awards, including UF Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine researcher Naohiro Terrada, M.D., Ph.D.
The four UF College of Medicine Doctoral Mentoring Award winners are:

- Robert McKenna, Ph.D., UF Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology
- Naohiro Terada, M.D., Ph.D., Department of Pathology, Immunology & Laboratory Medicine
- Maurice Swanson, Ph.D., UF Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology
