The Kidney and Urinary Tract (KUT) Course with Course Director William L. Clapp, M.D. (Pathology) and Associate Course Director Amir Kazory Amir, M.D. (Medicine- Nephrology) received the Golden Apple Award for Best Basic Science Course from the UF COM Class of 2022. The KUT Course with 22 faculty from the Departments of Anatomy and Cell Biology, Physiology, Pathology (Drs. William Winter, Neil Harris, Xu Zeng and Dara Wakefield), Medicine -Nephrology, Pharmacology, Urology and Oncology provides students with the basic and clinical science foundation to ultimately take care of patients with kidney and urinary tract disease.
