William Winter MD has been selected by the medical students as the Phase 1 Teacher of the Year for the College of Medicine.
- Dr. Winter is a Professor of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine, Pediatrics, and Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. He has an extensive role in teaching first and second year medical students and is well known for his engaging, funny, and interesting lectures. He teaches in nearly every first and second year course and clearly has a lasting impact on the students. Last year, he was also asked to give the “Last Lecture” for the Class of 2022.
