About Steven S Goldstein

Dr. Goldstein is a member of the University of Florida’s Department of Pathology and is the Director of the UF Health Transplant Laboratory. This laboratory is responsible for the HLA typing, antibody testing and crossmatch assays for all UF Health Shands solid organ and bone marrow transplant programs.

Dr. Goldstein received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and a hematopathology fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr. Goldstein returned to UF in 2012 to complete a histocompatibility fellowship and has served as the director of the transplant laboratory since 2014.
