About Anthony T Yachnis
Anthony T. Yachnis, M.D. is certified in anatomic pathology and neuropathology by the American Board of Pathology. As program director of the ACGME-approved neuropathology fellowship at UF, he provides a range of post-graduate neuropathology education for pathology, neurology, and neurosurgery trainees. He served on the American Board of Pathology Test Development and Advisory Committee for Neuropathology and is a past president of the American Association of Neuropathologists. Prior to his tenure at the UF College of Medicine, Dr. Yachnis completed pathology residency and a surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania from 1986 to 1991. He then received specialized training in pediatric neuropathology at Philadelphia Children’s Hospital in 1993.
