Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Fellowship (non-ACGME-accredited)

The Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Fellowship offered by the University of Florida Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine is a comprehensive one- or two-year program that begins on July 1 annually. The Fellowship provides the opportunity for advanced training and experience in GI/liver pathology practice and investigative pathology research.

Anatomic Pathology

Anatomic pathology involves the diagnosis of disease by appraising tissue/organ specimens and whole bodies via gross, microscopic, chemical, immunologic and molecular examination techniques. The pathologists at the the Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine practice and teach anatomic pathology daily within the University of Florida College of Medicine.
